Fi Emberton

I’ve lived in Maleny for 10 years now and have been an Australian for 30!

I look after member engagement and promotion at the Co-op after having worked on the expansion project back in 2020. I also assist Peter the manager.

My background – After uni in Edinburgh, I was a management trainee at UK retailer Marks and Spencer, went to business school and then became a librarian in Scotland and in Australia. For 20 years I was a retail consultant which was brilliant.

Outside work, my passions are landcare, hiking, gardening, cooking, reading, and spending time with friends.

I adore working with the Co-op and its multi-talented team. My favourite things about the Co-op are its fresh produce, local products, its ethics and authenticity. Another of my passions is buying locally, so a good chunk of my income lands in the Co-op’s tills!
