Kat and Dan
Kat and Dan started growing gourmet mushrooms in 2018, mentored by Max at Crystal Waters. When they saw that no-one else was producing unusual mushrooms, they saw a gap in the market and started their business. They stepped away from growing and are considering their next adventure. They continue to be great advocates for local produce, having held gourmet events in partnership with several producers including Tin Shed Farm. Also local chefs.
They live on the Hinterland with their young family. Kat is known locally for her involvement in Barung Landcare.
