Peter McMahon beekeeper of 30 years and uses small-smale, holistic and healthy practices on his dozen hives between Reeseville and Conondale. 

A long-time member of the Sunshine Coast Bee Keeper Association his small-scale production leave honey in the hives for winter, not needing to ‘feed’ the bees with supplement food and puts the same frames back into the same hives after extraction.  This reduces disease and stress on the bees.
