Kesten Hill
I am currently a psychology student focusing in the area of Organisational Psychology. In addition, I'm an avid writer and contribute in various forms of copy.
My area of interest in the co-op: I am overtly interested in people, and thus pride myself on contributing in a customer service-related manner. I love getting to know our members and customers alike, so being a supportive/helping hand in their cooperative experience reflects my area of interest.
My favourite things to buy here: Weekly, you will find me indulging in a loaf of Jeremiah's Crust or two. Trust me when I say 'Demeters Gift' is the spelt bread you need to taste. To pair with said bread, I love investing in our selection of organic grass-fed butters. A dollop of butter on a warm slab of fresh cob is a combination my taste buds savour.
What I enjoy doing outside of work: Well, outside of work I enjoy writing an eclectic bunch of scribble. In addition, I am a keen reader and rather enjoy being tucked in a nook, coffee in one hand, and a fantasy read in the other.
What’s important to you about the Co-op: Many areas of the Co-op stand out to me. However, two I shall briefly touch upon. First, the cooperative aims to provide equal ground to employers, employees, members and customers alike. Thus, fostering a pivotal intention where equality may have a voice. Second, the cooperative aspires to support the community in various endeavours. Thus, a reflection of a refreshing organisational perspective that goes beyond obvious organisational objectives.
